Community Outreach
The Lord told Jeremiah to “Get up and prepare for action” (NLT). The calling upon his life was clear and the action that lay before him would be challenging, therefore it was very important that he prepare himself. As we prepare weekly in studying God's Word, we put feet to our faith through quarterly community outreaches.
Communion
Communion is an ordinance started by Jesus during the Last Supper with His disciples. It is a way for believers to outwardly show their love for and fellowship with Christ, to remember the atoning sacrifice that Jesus made for them, and to look forward to the time when He will partake with us in the kingdom.
Prayer
Jesus ministered to the masses, but He chose to develop the faith of His closest disciples in the context of a small group. The book of Acts makes references to the early believers meeting in homes.
God’s Word exhorts us to “love one another”, to “pray for one another” and “build up one another”. Small groups offer us a better opportunity to fulfill this calling as we form close relationships with each other, pray for one another’s needs and ultimately help each other become mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says that experiencing forgiveness and beginning a relationship with God is as simple as trusting in Jesus Christ, and confessing your faith in Him. God’s promise to you is that, “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 NKJV).

Calvary Chapel Hawkesbury is a nondenominational church in the heart of North Richmond. We enjoy a casual, family atmosphere and are dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of the surrounding community.
Our Church is committed to teaching through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation to receive the whole counsel of God's Word.
